uploading my 360 video into quest 2 bottom of video is pixelated or blurred

I've created some 360 videos and look and work just fine, I put into .mp4 format and used android file transfer to place them onto the Quest 2.

When going into my media, the files play back, but the bottom 1/3 of the screen is pixelated or blurred out and I don't know why. I've tried on multiple headsets and with different videos. Any help is appreciated.

I had the same thing happen. You either exceeded the max resolution for the quest or the max bit-rate. Try using h.264.

Thanks!

I was using h.264.

Do you know the max resolution or what the max bit rate is?

Thanks!

Sorry, I just saw the link..

my video is 360 (mono) at 7680 x 3840 at 23.98 fps h.264

Must be a metadata problem because the dimensions in that pic don't look right.  You need this:

"Spatial Media Metadata Injector" It adds info to the file so the player knows if its 360 3D or 360 mono.
