when i open population one i can hear sound but my screen is black

when I open population one from the meta store it opens does all the intro stuff and then says connecting and then it goes black and the game noise starts to play and when I move my controllers around it seems like I'm going over buttons because they vibrate please help I just bought this game and I have a brand new quest 2

Oh no, that's rough! Sound always makes a huge difference, so we hate to hear you're not able to get it in the game.

Is it only happening in Population One?
