I want to do the same thing. but I'm finding no information on this, even though it seems like a basic thing a lot of people would want to do. It sort of works on Quest, but apparently not on Quest 2. Did you ever find a better way to do this?

Same here. I'm using URP with 2020.3.0 and eyeTextureResolutionScale do nothing

Same here with Unity 2019.4.16, URP 7.5.3. The issue appeared recently out of the blue, probably following firmware update v31. It used to work perfectly before.
