My PC has only USB 3 ports.

Is there a way to convert one to USB 2?
-I believe for 3 sensors I will need that.

thats if your using sensors on 2 different ports.

so if you one in a usb 2 and the other 2 in a usb 3, they run into problems

but if you use the same speed for all sensors its balanced.

you will be fine as long as there all plugged in the same bandwidth controller.

usb 3 will work for usb 2 rated products, you don't need to convert

all usb 3 means is that they are faster than usb 2.

you can not go the other way though so if something needs a usb 3 port and all you have a usb 2 it won't be as fast.

That's an old post, currently Oculus recommends that all sensors use usb3.

i7 7700K (4.5GHz); MSI GTX 1080 8GB Gaming X (oc 2100MHz gpu boost, 11GHz mem speed); 16GB 3200MHz; MSI Z270I (VR-Ready) mainboard; Samsung 961 NVMe 128GB (OS) + Samsung 860 4TB SSD (games) + Toshiba P300 HDD 3TB (games); Win10; Valve Index and Oculus Rift CV1 using super sampling 2.0.      "Ask not what VR can do for you – ask what you can do for VR"

thats if your using sensors on 2 different ports.
