DisplayPort has to be unplugged after reboots

My Rift works great, but if the computer reboots or sleeps I have to unplug the rift from the usb and DisplayPort to get it to recognize the port.  I can’t just unplug the DisplayPort to force recognition. I have all the power management set “do not allow computer to turn off port” but haven’t seen that setting for the DisplayPort.
We can use the Rift for hours, it’s just aggravating to have to reach behind the computer every time we reboot.

Same here, mine plugs in the front so its no major problem for me.  I always unplug the HMD from the USB when not in use to make sure it really is off when not in use anyway.
