Hello everyone, I come to the community to find help ..
I just bought the oculus rift S but can not set it up. Indeed I have absolutely no picture.
I tried to unplug the usb then the displayport and reconnect but nothing. Even on other Displayport / Usb ports, nothing to do.
I looked for windows 10 update and my graphics card but nothing
Also tried to reinstall the software, still nothing ...

In short, I am short of idea and I can not find. The only existing topic was talking about special characters in our windows names "ç è é" but that's not my case .. So I open this topic.

My components of my pc:
GeForce GTX 1070 (v441.41)
i5-6600K CPU 3.50GHz
16Go RAM

thanks for helping 😞

and Sorry for my bad english

If your motherboard has integrated graphics, disable that in bios.
Make sure you have the camera enabled in Windows 10.

The camera is activated.

I changed in the bios PEG -> IGD but it does not change anything.

But thank you for your help.

I'm starting to be desperate... x)

I do not know your particular motherboard, but you need to check the manual and see in the bios how to disable integrated graphics if it has it.
Obviously your Rift S Display Port need to be plugged into your 1070 GPU.
Your USB 3 should be connected to a USB 3 port ( these are usually blue or red), and preferable one that is not sharing with any other USB devices.

Is there a light illuminated on the headset? If so is it white or orange?
How far along do you get with the installation of Oculus Home, to the point where it says to put on the headset to proceed? Do you see anything in the image, like maybe 3 white flickering dots?
Is this a PC or Laptop?

Thank you for your answer.

My ports are well connected in Displayport and USB 3.

I have a white light above the eyes on the oculus.

I have a PC, not a laptop
I am at the moment of putting the oculus to make the guardian zone. I do not see anything when I put it
However, I have the impression of seeing white dots on the sides but I think they are only reflections of light. When I put my hands on the oculus I do not see them anymore.

Problem solved.

I had all my full USB ports so the oculus did not have enough power for an image.

Once sorting, it works !

Thanks you for your help dburne 🙂
