Rift S Touch Tracking issue

Hello everyone,,
i have often problems with the controller tracking.
While playing Superhot vr on steam or Robo recall or sometimes in my oculus home the controller "hands" stuck near my body or both in the right sometimes. i can still rotate them but not move them other ways. I need to restart the oculus programm to fix this.https://youporn.wiki/ https://xhamster.vip/ https://redtube.onl/
it should be possible to recalibrate the controllers without a total restart.

The controller tracking Is terrible on the rift S, I've just upgraded from a CV1 with three sensors, I could play VR golf perfect with that headset, with the S It's hopeless. Can't hit the soddin ball most swings! It's great for iRacing though.

If you have not yet opt into the 1.39 PTC beta version of the software, tracking has improved some with it.

This is a defect they have with the Rift S. Its not just tracking, the hands lock up and become incapable of being used.

I have had this ticket open with support for about 40 days now, they only respond every 3-5 days. I get the same response each time, ' have you tried unplugging it and plugging it back in?' i really regret 'upgrading to the S' because i no longer have a working VR headset just a $400 paperweight. I have been offered game credit, which is useless because I can't play games... God, this company is going downhill

See my post on this exact issue here.  It is apparently not uncommon.  OP, what motherboard are you using?  Intel or AMD?

After a month researching and testing I think I know what cause the bug. The insue is caused by extreme heating on usb plug and motherboard chipset that causes data losses. You can solve this problem by 1) using a external usb pci-e (compatible with rift)  OR  2) just turn on a fan next to your opened pc cabinet to avoid the heating.

The solution 1 sounds viable... Not sure about the 2nd option tho... If you need to cool down your motherboard with fans, it pretty much means that either some chip at the motherboard is missing heatsink or that it is overloaded or shorting out. The fan may give some 1st aid, but something will eventually break. In your case would totally avoid using that particular usb connector which is heating up.
