My Oculus has been running fine for a year and a half now. Then all of a sudden it doesn't and I get this message about my video driver. . ."Oculus has detected a problem with your video driver". So now I wonder what to do. . .Please help!

What I run:
AMD FX8370 4.0Ghz
16GB mem
Nvidia 970X (Driver ver. 416.16)

Oculus has moved to Vulcan API

Have you seen this thread? https://forums.oculusvr.com/community/discussion/70097/nvidia-driver-411-63-not-rendering-to-headset-issue#latest someone has a possible fix.

Also completely removing you graphics drivers with DDU and then installing the fresh ones from Nvidia fixes things.
Core i7-7700k @ 4.9 Ghz | 32 GB DDR4 Corsair Vengeance @ 3000Mhz | 2x 1TB Samsung Evo | 2x 4GB WD Black
ASUS MAXIMUS IX HERO | MSI AERO GTX 1080 OC @ 2000Mhz | Corsair Carbide Series 400C White (RGB FTW!)

So Sorry. . .I found my solution. I had an AMD based graphics card before the GTX970 and there was a leftover file. . .AMD-Vulcan64.JSON. It was causing all my issues and I removed it. Nae danger. . .
