The trailer just arrived:

According to the devs:

“While Wanderer is an ambitious effort in delivering a feature-length game for VR, our team is confident the graphics, gameplay and story will offer an exciting prospect for VR gamers,” notes M Theory and Oddboy in a statement.

Wanderer is going to be a three-part series, with M Theory and Oddboy partnering with Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) on the first instalment. But it’s not a PlayStation VR exclusive, the studios have already confirmed that SteamVR and Oculus platforms will be supported."

The game is inspired by one of my favorite TV shows, namely Dark:

The action adventure game is out for Rift and SteamVR in the summer 2021 - some screenshots:

Sigh, seems no-one cares about new PCVR games anymore in here. My similar post got more than 500 upvotes on Index Subreddit - seems we're still some caring about games where you can't easily count the polygons

- ok, might have helped that even the devs responded, lol - more here:

Also I made an error posting in the Rift category - if any mods read this, feel free to move this thread to the games and apps category, thanks!

That is not true! 🙂

But most of them are in PCVR now and not on the forum 😉

Well I'll be opening the PCVR portal in a few minutes too, I think I need to try a new ... mask 😁

This game will sell about 3 copies. Meanwhile RE 4 VR will sell 3 gazillion on Quest 2.

System Specs: MSI NVIDIA RTX 4090 , i5 13700K CPU, 32GB DDR 4 RAM, Win 11 64 Bit OS.

Right, my friends still tell me that there's only one real VR game, namely Alyx.

But now I can correct them - and tell them that soon there's another shining VR diamond, namely a 15 year old low-poly game named RE4!

Low-poly games are great, because games are about more than graphics. It's the low-poly games in history that established the gaming industry to begin with.

I remember how much joy was expressed by the SteamVR community when Fallout and Skyrim were ported over to VR, despite FalloutVR being riddled with bugs and SkyrimVR looking horrible (graphically) out of the box.

Yet the SteamVR community didn't care - at least not the actual VR Enthusiasts of that community - because they understood the power of VR. They understood that being immersed in a classic game, regardless of the graphics, provides the amazing opportunity to become immersed in worlds that, prior to now, we had to admire from a distance.

I would love to get immersed in to my Atari 2600 collection, in their original form! Because I'm a VR Enthusiast.

Wanderer - finally a new real (non-Questified) VR game looking awesome - and only for Rift and PCVR!

I can agree that Wanderer does not look Questified (e.g. the graphics have not been toned down for stand-alone). However, Wanderer most certainly does look Indexified: Lacks depth, meaning, and compelling content in favor of pretty shapes and colors.
