When taking off the Rift S is it supposed to stay white?

When taking off the Rift S, is the color on the light supposed to turn orange or stay white?

My controllers shut off but the headset stays white.  I'm asking because with the old oculus it would turn orange.

If I remember this correctly, with the original CV1 headset, the LED colour was:

Orange in standby

White when being used (I could be wrong, it's been a long time since I used my CV1).

No colour change to indicate a problem.

 

With the Rift-S that changed to:

White when the headset is in standby and there's no problems.

Orange if plugged in but there's a problem e.g. Oculus service isn't running.

LED off when in use.
