Unity editor 5.2.1p3 and Unreal editor 4.9 now work for me, but the first run of Unity after upgrading froze the editor when I hit play without turning on the blue light. Including log in case it helps.

Did you restart your computer after installing everything?

If you can, please include the Oculus server log and the Unity editor log so I can take a look.

Hi Cyber,

I noticed the installer has the same filename as the previous RC. Was this intentional?

Thanks!

@owenwp: Yes, I would definitely recommend restarting (even though it doesn't ask).

@andrewtek: The file name I think is just what the final build will be called. It's a new version.

@owenwp: I'm not seeing any errors in those logs that would explain a crash.

You'll see a different version name in Programs and Features for Oculus Runtime.

I'm in Perth, so I can't test this right now.

I installed the latest nvidia drivers(358.70) and this 0.8 RC2. all works (config utility and tiny room), but after going from 0.7 to 0.8 in my engine I only get a black screen on both the rift and mirror texture, blue lights are on on both camera and rift. Is there anything obvious that would cause this? I'm also on a gtx970 now no longer on the gtx650. I do get a single flicker of noise on the hmd but after that black. will keep looking to see if I missed anything.edit4: just an error on my part, black screen gone now and display properly - (I had copy and paste without using the param for the changes in tracking state).

edit1: now tracking camera light is not turning on and config utility says "rift DK2 attached, no tracker attached". will try reinstall, it was working just stopped.

edit2: changed the tracking camera USB port after reinstall and started working again.

edit3: found that if I open config utility tracking camera blue light turn on straight away. if I close it then run tiny room sample and then close that, then open the config utility the tracking camera blue light doesn't light up until I start the config demo. in my previous edits this is where the tracking stopped working. just mentioning it.
