IT-Bachelor: Need people for survey

Hi all!

We are four IT-design and product development students from Aarhus University, Denmark. We are currently working on our bachelor’s project, and the general subject is how to increase immersion/sense of presence in virtual worlds using virtual reality, biofeedback, haptic feedback and the (cross)mapping between them.

We intend to conduct an experiment to investigate the effects of the different sensors in different settings, using a horror-game as the testing environment.

In regards to the above, we would like to get in contact with people who has experience using the Oculus Rift. If you'd like to be a part of our survey, in form of either a Skype interview (preferred) or a mail correspondence, we'd very much like to hear from you!

Reply to this thread or send us a mail at itbachelorproject2013@gmail.com

Thanks a bunch and have a nice day!

No, we haven't gotten any response based on this thread. We have received a couple of responses from other forums though, but still need a couple of participants.

I suppose it may help if we knew what exactly you are hoping to achieve. What would the participants be doing?

Hi Kyle, sorry for the late reply. We were hit by exams when you wrote. We were hoping to get some feedback on the use of the Rift. Fortunately a lot of people in the Oculus section of Reddit were happy to help us, so at this point we don't need any more participants. Thanks a lot for the response though 🙂 Have a nice day
