Nice idea! But will it be popular?

Do you have some "smell brightness" setting? So you could change the amount or intensity of smell?
So if I do not like to smell burning rubber too much, could I change the "smell brightness" to lower value just a little tint or duration to a half of a second?

Will VRchat be supported? You could sell them masks even if they had no headsets :lol:
And I know the smell they will use most! :lol:

Is it possible to record stream of smells and feelings from a game with video streaming? And then post cut scenes on YouTube 🙂

Will there be photo gallery with smell support? (is there "sea smell", "pizza smell", "bar smell"?) :smiley:

Could you make a sample game "guess a smell combination" for parties? 😉

ps. Is it possible to get "great vine smell" while drinking cheap one?
:lol:

Wish you the best of luck.

Would it depend on every software developer integrating every item in their game with your hardware? Otherwise how would it know what a flower was or when the wind was blowing?

Do you intend to incorporate this in the unreal engine and unity?

It reminds me of the old CGA days. You could use 2 or 4 of the 16.7 million colors available today.

Got to start somewhere I suppose. Count me in when it gets to the smell equivalent of VGA. 😉

Dear Oculus, If it ain't broke, don't fix it, please.

 Don't think I'm quite ready for Smell-o-vision but good luck with your endeavors

This could be pretty interesting if a few games devs support its use within their games.

@Nekto2

Duration and intensity of the smells in games will be set by developers, when they create a FeelReal profile for their product. Our smell distribution system is the same that's used in vaping devices. It vaporizes micro amounts of scented liquids right under user's nose, so in fact it can't be too intense. When using Feelreal mask for the first time, you will be able to adjust it to your personal sensitivity to smells.

By now we still haven't communicated with VRChat developers XD

You gave us an interesting idea about adding Feelreal support to gaming streams, we will definitely think about it! And a "guess a smell" game is nice idea too!

Feelreal Aroma Library contains more than 200 aromas, and there is sea smell and pizza smell, and several options of alcohol and bar snacks  😉

@Luciferous

Yes, we have SDK for Unity and Unreal for game developers. Any developer can add Feelreal support to their game, and it will be added to existing games as a patch.

Are you asking as a dev or as a gamer?

And, thanks  🙂

Now we have 255 smells in our library, and we will be adding more. I hope sometime a real Ready Player One suit will be possible, and Feelreal Mask will be a part of it.
