Same for me.
1. DirectToRift mode does not work at all
2. with extended mode I wont get head tracking

Any ideas how to solve that?

@morrownale - this was also my experience, until I realised I hadn't updated the oculus runtime to 4.2

When I come back from Oculus Connect I will do updates and hopefully be able to add at least a mac DK1 version.
And also fix the overly dark areas with DK2 version.

Using latest Runtime 0.4.2 seems to be the issue... Also if your using extended mode I recommend pressing F4 for Screen Light Boost mode toggle. And disabling Aero in Win7 🙂

I dont think its possible to use "hardcore mode" in the tutorial, but I think that would actually make the last part of the tutorial (with mines) easier for beginners. I actually think it should be possible to change mode for the long ropes on the fly, by pressing y or some other button on the gamepad, so that its easy to switch between while in the middle of a grappling series.

I think this is a good idea to give the player access to the “Hardcore mode” on the controller, while in game, too. This would give you even more control.
To be honest, I am still getting a bit sick… but after 30 minutes of insane jumps und crazy movements. Tuscany Demo makes me still sick after the first steps in the Villa. Same goes for our own demos for the company. It seems connected to the basic camera controller…I don’t know what you made different in your game. But it feels much better than most of the stuff I tried. The hooks feels very natural now. Interesting is although, that I am forgetting the screen door effect. Seems the colors and contrasts in the game help to mask it. This is one of the view games that gave me the feeling: Yes this is made for the RIFT… this feels right. Ah, and I love the great music, too. For the future: This could be although a good game for multiplayer. I although wanted to thank you for releasing such a satisfying demo. Next time, I am in Finland, I bring you guys some liquid souvenirs from Germany :mrgreen:

Hi,
yes, I managed to do this by pressing m on keyboard. I think I saw someone on reddit suggest this. For me the game window was a bit wonky and off-center, but I alt-tabbed, focused that window and alt-enter'd it to fullscreen. I hope it works for you.

Got no headtracking, any suggestions? Every other game demo works except this one...really want to try it, please help. Dk2 runtime and firmware all up to date.
