v0.8.2 https://mega.nz/#!pQY2kBYI!W03UaKxmhA90sQU69Mc7dou4W_1tr1-3EWCq5eQ46T0

Lots of improvents, more lighting, more pipes, better cars, more neon... a head. a nice new window blind. umm flashing lights... ummm

There will be many more improvements to come...

I'm sloowly building this experience...My first solo VR project. It's inspired but Deckard's apartment balcony. I don't plan on being enslaved by the films details, but rather want to capture the mood more than anything. That being said, the environment you see here is just me mapping out things.

I plan to have the flying vehicles moving, plenty of atmospheric lighting. Would love any feedback anyone may have! Thank you for checking it out.

Try this while playing Vangelis - Memories of Green or Blade Runner Blues Also, you can use the edge of your desk as the balcony ledge.

Hi,

Love the film and the atmosphere.

Good start I think you have the right mood, I got real sense of vertigo when I peered over the balcony. look forward to seeing more. I presume you cannot move at the moment?

Thank you very much for taking the time to try it out!
Really happy you found the mood and setting interesting...
I have a new build with a number of improvments!

Might not get much chance to work on this until next week...
As for moving around, Maybe not for some time. but that is starting to interest me a little too.
Although that does expand the scope of the project rather significantly. Which I'm not sure I can do. Might be good to polish the living daylights out of this current experience then re-evaluate later 😄

tahnks!

Wonderful! I kept wishing I could see real people hanging out in other buildings and wave at them, that this was an entire virtual city where I had my virtual apartment.

Looks nice!
Whats the user experience you are planning?

Will be be a short experience or a more fledged level?

I've just uploaded a new build...

I had to rebuild the whole scene after nuking the original one by accident! No source control, bad artist!
The opportunity allowed me to make some improvements while keeping the scene more robust.

Current plan is a stationary experience. But to embellish the world with small details, events, which help the view build a narrative.
The idea is you might find this a place you want to come and visit from time to time. To relax, listen to the rain and watch the city pass you by.

😄
