Anti Virus preventing game from installing

Hi guys
I recently got the oculus rift S however I am trying to install Dirt rally but keep getting a notification that my antivirus is preventing the download. Anyone have any solution to fix this?

Yes temporarily disable anti-virus and retry ?

HI I am having the same problem.
my  problem is, I already downloaded dreamdeck and minecraft w/o any problems.
Then I tried Apollo 11 hd. I got this message so disabled the antivirus and firewall. it still wouldn't download. so I enabled antivirus and firewall.
then proceeded  to download first contact while anitvirus was enabled..

why is it allowing some to be downloaded while anti virus is on and still refusing to download others when anti virus is disabled??

I'm having the same problem with Dirt Rally 2 - I added exclusions and knocked off realtime protection and it still didn't work. I'm now trying again with defender completely disabled - I'll let you know what happens.

yeah so you need to go into gpedit.msc and knock off defender altogether and reboot - a bit of a pain but it works
