Controller won't turn on

My right controller for my Quest 2 won't turn on. I've attempted changing the batteries, the battery brand, restarting the headset, etcetera. Any help or battery brand recommendations?

Hey Spook-A-Wook! We'd love to help out! Please send us a private message as we would like to collect some photos of your battery compartment. Please take a picture of the connectors where the battery rests. Please copy and paste this link into your browser https://metaque.st/CommunitySupport or click on our name to get to our profile page, then click "Send a Message" to privately contact us. Please remember, you must be signed into the community first to send us a private message. In the mean time, please also attempt to unpair and repair your controllers:

First,

  • Open the Oculus app on the phone.
  • Tap Settings from the bottom menu.
  • Tap the headset that is currently paired.
  • Tap Controller, then tap the desired controller to unpair.
  • Tap Unpair Controller.

After your controllers are unpaired, complete the following to repair your controllers

If not already done, insert the included battery into the controller, then tap Continue on the Oculus app.

  • Open the Oculus app
  • Tap Oculus Quest or Oculus Quest 2 in the top left corner of the Oculus app
  • Tap Settings in the bottom right corner of the app.
  • Tap Oculus Quest or Oculus Quest 2 under the user's name and email.
  • Tap Controllers then tap Left or Right to choose which hand you’d like to pair.

In your private message, please let us know if the process of unpairing and repairing your controllers had any effect on whether or not your right controller turns on and send u as picture of the.
