I use the first oculus quest and when I’m setting up my floor it just keeps rising continuously without stop and it won’t snap to my controllers like it used to.

Hey miserablenugget! We got a few ideas:
Of course, that's just the tip of the iceberg. Feel free to respond and elaborate further so we can keep cracking on the issue.

I already typed this once so here is short version. I had the same issue. I sat on the edge of the bed or chair, lowered the one controller to the floor by the strap, and clicked confirm or whatever (it is my kids oculus, I don't know the terms) when I stood up, the floor stayed down.

I have this exact same problem. Trying to reset the floor level does nothing. I have tried multiple different rooms and re-linked my controllers. But, every time I try to set the floor level it continuously rises into the sky and will not reset back to a default position.

I fixed mine with a factory reset. Which is a little annoying, but I found no other solution.

I had the same issue and resolved it through these steps:
Logged with Oculus and we went through the following steps which eventually resulted in a solution.
My troubleshooting work:
- Tried setting up in other rooms of the house with different lighting
- Cleaned headset cameras/sensors using microfibre cloth
- Removed headphones/prescription lens
- Replaced controller batteries
- Factory reset device
Troubleshooting work with oculus:
"Please try removing the batteries from your controllers and leaving them out for 1 minute. This will reset the controllers. Afterwards, place your batteries back in the controllers and try unpairing and manually re-pairing again. Please click [here](https://support.oculus.com/279729336057839/#faq_279729336057839) for instructions."
This didn't resolve the issue, so the following step:
"As a final troubleshooting step, we would recommend doing a factory reset one more time. as we would like to eliminate any software issues."
I did this and when creating the guardian again the floor stayed in position, one thing to note was that I left one controller on the ground (as in not in my hand) as I set the guardian up, not sure if its relevant but if anyone has this issue it might be worth doing.
