i've updated my quest 2 headset to v27 and i'm having audio problems with my audio jack, (w/o headphones i can crank it to max ) i can't turn up the volume to maximum only about 65-70% (minus 5 bars), note : i didn't had audio issues prior updating (V23) i have tries via the settings menu ,plus the volume buttons with no results.

, any suggestions / ideas are welcome.

Anyone have a solution?

It helped me to reset to factory settings; then reboot.
I first updated the device to the latest version, then reset to factory settings, then rebooted the devices.

After the factory reset, the 70% restriction was gone, but the marked area continued to reset.
A simple reboot fixed the situation.

Old topic but might be helpful for people looking for a solution.

This issue occurs because Android limits the maximum volume when using headphones in the European union. This might even happen when you are outside of the EU.

To fix this, either use Sidequest or download ADB to run command and use the following command to disable to volume limit:

adb shell settings put secure unsafe_volume_music_active_ms 1
