Hey there dolan_g,

Air Link gives you the ability to play VR compatible games from your computer without the need for pesky wires. For best use, double check that you have a strong Wi-Fi connection and that you are using Windows 10. Windows 11 is not yet supported with out Oculus PC software.

To set up from your PC:

  1. Download the Oculus PC app by visiting oculus.com/setup and clicking Download Software below Oculus Link. Please note, if your PC app is on v34, but your headset is on v33, you will need to enable Air Link from the Oculus PC app:
    1. Open the Oculus PC app and select Settings.

    2. Select the Beta tab, then select the button next to Air Link.

To set up from your headset:

  1. Put on your headset, then press oculus icon on your right Touch controller to pull up your universal menu.

  2. Hover over the clock on the left side of the universal menu. When Quick Settings appears, select it to open the Quick Settings panel.

  3. Select  Settings in the top right corner.

  4. Select Experimental.

  5. Select the toggle next to Air Link to begin pairing.

  6. Review the Air Link requirements, then select Continue.

  7. Find and select your PC in the Available PCs list then select Pair.

  8. A pairing code will show in VR. Remove your headset and confirm that the code you see on your computer matches the one you see in your headset.
    • If you don't see a pairing code, make sure that both your headset software and desktop app are on v34 or later.
  9. Click Confirm from your Oculus desktop app. Then put your headset back on.

  10. Select Launch to begin using Air Link.

After you pair for the first time, you will be able to launch Air Link directly from the Quick Settings panel. If you would like to learn more about setting up Air Link, click here
