How to remove a headset from Account?

Hey Everyone,

I am unable to contact support as it says "Something has gone wrong..." I've tried multiple PC's and devices with the same error message. So, I can't contact support on this issue.

My issue is. I bought an Oculus Go a year ago. Activated it and had it on my account. The Oculus Go had a major problem of the display flickering since I bought it. I went ahead and returned it (again, a year ago) to BestBuy. However, It seems like it is hard locked to my account. I can't remove it under Devices.

Anyone know how to remove the headset I no longer own??

The short answer is: You can't!

The Support answered this questions as follows:

"In this case, you don't need to worry about your account. The next person who want to use the device must perform a factory reset on it. When a device is registered to an account, it cannot be removed from the account.
