So ive been on windows 7 using my rift with no issues since January. After reading about how windows 10 is a better environment for VR in general I decided to let go of my disdain for the OS and upgrade. Since Ive switched to windows 10 when im in game things are really distorted. This is very noticeable with head movement as some objects/textures look like a smear tool was ran over them for a moment. The play area ring that is around me actually jitters like a heart monitor. Ive tried to screenshot the issue but the distortion effect does not show up in the screenshots. Im thinking it could be this Asynchronous Timewarp thing I read about. But I guess you cant disable that so im not able to test. If someone can help me out here Id really appreciate it because as it is it makes VR really unplayable right now. (I also have latest bios firmware and usb drivers with this issue). Note I never had this issue on windows 7, and hardware stayed the same.

You could use the Oculus debug tool to disable the asynchronous timewarp temporarily. C:\Program Files\Oculus\Support\oculus-diagnostics Just change the setting there...this resets every time you launch home i believe, but you can shortcut to it if needed...or you can try the third party Oculus Tray Tool to manage the settings. Also, I saw a quite detailed post the other day about the Power Policy...but it was all a bit beyond my humble PC skills lol...but a quick forum search should find it. Good luck.
