Menu button not working

Hi, so I've been using the Quest 2 for a day now and I started using it on pc via Oculus link, but when for example I want to pause some games with the left controller menu button or use the SteamVr dashboard it takes me to the oculus dashboard.
I don't know if I'm just not understanding something or if it's a bug of some sort.
Hope that anyone has experienced this and knows how to fix it.

if you still have this problem go to setting in the non pc vr mode mode and go to devices then hands and controllers then turn switch oculus and menu button off. hope this helps as i to had this frustrating issue,
