It’s to the point where it’s constant and I need new ones. If you could check my Warranty and see if you can send me new ones that would be great

Heya! Drifting controllers can be a hinderance, so let us look into this immediately. First have you been able to try out a few troubleshooting steps? If not we advise you to please try out these steps, so we can rule out if this is an issue involving either your controller batteries or the controllers sensors.

Removing Controller Batteries:

  1. When removing the batteries, wait for a few minutes, then reinsert them.

Cleaning the Controllers: Sometimes sweat, dust and other bits of debris can start to build up in and around the controllers.

  1. Use a dry cloth or non-abrasive anti-bacterial wipes to clean your remote. Don’t use alcohol or an abrasive cleaning solution.
  2. Some of our gamers have been able to report that moving the joystick around and blowing near the edges to remove the debris has helped a lot.

If none of these steps work out for you then, rest assured we would like for you to create a support ticket, you will be able to chat with our specialist! We hope this information we provided was helpful. Always here to help!

My controllers keep getting drift even after I get new ones can you guys look into my warranty for that please

Hey there, @welcomethe_darkside. Thank you for giving us a heads-up on the drifting issue you have been having with your controllers. Having any sort of issue with drifting can certainly bring your VR game to a standstill, and we would be happy to look into that for you. Before we go down the warranty options route, can you tell us the following:

Have you cleaned your controllers?

Recalibrated your controllers? If not, here is how:

For Quest 2 and Quest Pro:

  1. From your headset, select Settings.
  2. Select Controller Settings.
  3. Under Joystick Deadzone and Range, select the joystick you're having an issue with.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to recalibrate the joystick deadzones.

What troubleshooting have you done so far so we don't repeat anything?

Please let us know if you have any questions. We are looking forward to your reply.

I had controller drift with my left Pro, first time I experienced it with any controller... a quick squirt of Deoxit into the base of the joystick followed by a minute of moving it about, improved it, repeated the next day cured it completely. I spoke to someone who used WD40 Contact Cleaner (not regular WD40) on their Quest 2 controller with good results.

Hey there, @DaftnDirect. Thank you for letting us know how you were able to fix your drifting issue with your controller. If you have any questions or any other suggestions, Please let us know.
