Oculus Browser controller pads standby glitch. A white dot appears on the screen after about 10min

Hi, my job is screening movies for a film festival. Basically I need to watch movies stored on Vimeo, FilmFreeway, FestHome.
The problem is this: the internal Oculus Browser is glitched: if I start watching a movie using the Oculus browser I don't touch my controllers, after about 7 - 10 minutes they go in standby. At that point a white dot appears in the center of the screen, it follows the move of my head. It makes impossible to enjoy the movie for more than 10 minutes.

Thx for your attention,

Dan

Yes this iv been asking for ages now you can put hand tracking on but that’s annoying too.
Or you could get a Bluetooth mouse and move it to the side but iv not tried it.

Have you tried using the new hand tracking 2.0? It's available for virtual desktop and many other apps. You can use those apps to watch your movies through without worrying about controllers.

Have you tried turning it off and on again?
