It should not get hot, you might need to give it a hard reset, just hold the power button for 20 seconds and plug it into the charger.

What charger are you using with it? Are you using the supplied cable?
Core i7-7700k @ 4.9 Ghz | 32 GB DDR4 Corsair Vengeance @ 3000Mhz | 2x 1TB Samsung Evo | 2x 4GB WD Black
ASUS MAXIMUS IX HERO | MSI AERO GTX 1080 OC @ 2000Mhz | Corsair Carbide Series 400C White (RGB FTW!)

Be kind to one another 🙂

It can get warm, but it should not normally be hot. I hope you're not using the device while it's charging, you should not do that. Otherwise, please contact us. Thanks. https://support.oculus.com

I didn’t and don’t  use the Go while charging! It also was not in a confined area so it got plenty of air. There was a message in the Go saying that it was overheating and it said “tap here” to get rid of the message but there was no ability to tap at all or even use the hand held controller! So I let it cool down. Since it became so hot, I thought it would start a fire and since I had the Go for only about 2 weeks, I had Amazon send me a replacement. I hope this one isn’t defective.
