Oculus Link dosen't work with USB 3.0

Level 3

Oculus Link dosen't work on my Quest 2 with USB 3.0 but works with USB 2.0.

Using USB 2.0 is kinda laggy so I want to use USB 3.0. So I plug my cable into USB 3.0 and the Quest and then I see 3 dots loading. I can see my guardian if I get close to it. And the three dots dissapear and I can still see the guardian but I have to disconnect my cable to get back to my Quest 2 universal menu.

Level 2

I am having the same problem right now.

Hey there. We know you'd rather be gaming right now, but let's see what we can do to help with the USB issue you're experiencing!

Can you try the following:

  • Close the Oculus app.
Press the Windows key + R on your keyboard to open the Run command.
    Enter C:\Program Files\Oculus\Support\oculus-drivers.
    Open oculus-driver.
Open the Oculus app and then try to connect your headset again.

We do hope this helps. We look forward to hearing from you.

I tried running oculus-driver.exe as administarator and its not working.
