Oculus Rift CV1 works on other computers except for mine?

So I've been having issues with my Oculus Rift CV1 where, on my main PC,
whenever I plug it in and try to use it, it has issues with either HDMI
or the USB cables, even though for almost a year, I had been using it
with no issues at all. Sometimes I can get the oculus software to say
that the headset 'is online and functional' by unplugging and
re-plugging the USB and HDMI cables, but when I try actually using it,
the light on top is orange (usually when it's not actually on and
working) and the screen doesn't turn on at all. So I tried plugging it
into my brother's computer, and everything worked fine again, light
turned white and screen turned on. So I decided to try plugging it back
into mine to see if I'd fixed the actual headset since I had originally
thought that I'd broken my headset completely and still had the same
issue.

I have tried to fix it for a couple hours with no
good results. I've rebooted dozens of times, uninstalled the oculus
software, used the repair tool in it, completely uninstalled all the
drivers and any traces of oculus files on my computer. Tried searching
up if I'm missing files or anyone having the same issues as me, with
still no answers. I genuinely can't think of what the issue would be
since it was working fine before. I hadn't installed anything that would
maybe interfere with the drivers or anything. I just tried using my
headset one day, and it decided not to work.

First plugging it in:                   Unplugging & Re-plugging 1st time:         Unplugging & Re-plugging 2st time:

(Yes I posted this earlier as a discussion but realized I should've posted it as a question)

Ya, always a bit frustrating when this happens.  Usually either a win10 or nvidia update shoots me in the foot once in a while.  Also, if you are using non-defender virus software and/or ad blockers, these can sometimes cause problems.  Uninstalling all your USB's and then letting Win10 find them again sometimes helps (as well as making sure to disable any power saving on these).

Not a lot else you can do, short of doing a clean win10 installation imho.

Good luck mate and cheers.

This literally happened to me yesterday. I've spent hours and hours troubleshooting.
