I just noticed any Rift apps including vr preview in UE4 ignore my overclock settings completely. Has anybody else noticed this?

Have you tried using afterburner to set your overclocks?

Not got my rift yet so can't try/confirm either right now.

ive tried setting them via crimson and with afterburner. All other non rift app's use what i have set.
This is definately something to do with the crimson drivers/Oculus runtime.

It does seem odd, is the card throttling due to temps?

What card have you got?

I've already filed a bug report for this, but I haven't heard anything back yet.

maybe the apps are detected as 2D instead of 3D. does your overclock work for 2D applications as well?
