So I previously had a Rift S and had a couple of games on the Oculus platform and a few on the Steam platform as well. Since I've had the Quest 2 for the last few days, I've been trying day after day to get my games from my library onto my Quest 2. I've got it set up, I've plugged it into the computer and added the device to my Oculus platform on the PC but when I untether, my Quest 2 will not show me any of the games from my library. I opened a support ticket and they told me to transfer files from my old library folder to my new one but there isn't a new one. No new folders have been created since I've got the Quest 2. Additionally, this doesn't help me get any of my steam games onto my Quest 2. Can anyone offer some suggestions on how to download both my Oculus library games as well as my steam library games? I'm sure Oculus would gladly have me pay for them all over again but I'd return the headset before I did that.
(Quick summary: Rift-S and Quest are different stores. Only some games give you a copy on both for a single purchase. Quest2 can't run any Steam games natively. Using the Link cable or Virtual Desktop lets the Quest 2 pretend to be a Rift and play your Rift or Steam games)
Thanks for that info. No wonder it has been such a challenge! Kind of annoying that even some big titles would have to be purchased a second time. Will have to contemplate whether to keep the headset or not.
Me too don't find the library in quest2. I installed with sidequest an app (lambda1vr) and the application is in the quest 2, I can start it from sidequest but I don't understand how start "unknow source" from library because I am not able to enable the library in quest2. Someone have the answer ? I am lost.
