Quest 2 - how to see photos/videos on Android Oculus app?

I thought I saw a recent feature where I can now more easily transfer screenshots or videos from the Quest 2 (without having to share on Facebook, smh)

I'm can't figure out how though, I am looking in my Oculus app on my phone, under Devices (and looked everywhere really), and I also looked in the Oculus Quest 2 "Files" app, I read somewhere there's supposed to be a cloud icon I would click to sync the media? I don't see this, and the only share option is still FB.

Can anyone shed some light on this, please?

Yea I just bumped another thread about this, there are several of us having this issue. So far the only support response has been that it's a "rolling update" but is not confirmed that anyone who didn't have it has received an update to enable it.

Thanks for the update, I'll stop looking all over the apps thinking I'm doing something wrong 🙂

Had the same issue, finally figured it out!!!

  • Force quit your Oculus app,
  • clear cache and storage
  • enable all the permissions.

Opened it, logged in again, and now I have a gallery on the app!
