Rift Audio Playback/Record Devices don't exist but "Rift Audio" does in Device Manager

Finally got setup tonight to run Valkyrie (only to get stuck by a required update that I couldn't find) when I discovered that I have no audio. In device manager, I do see "Rift Audio" under "Sound, video and game controllers", but the playback and record devices are nowhere to be seen in the Audio Device CPL. I've enabled disabled and disconnected devices. I see my onboard audio, monitors, bluetooth, etc.., but no rift devices. Disconnected/reconnected USB and HDMI and the Rift works otherwise, but no audio devices.

Suggestions? Anyone else seeing this behavior?

Looks like I was mistaken about Valkyrie. The required update, which I had to go searching for; won't install just as the app initially. What a disappointing experience the CV is turning out to be.
