Rift installation cannot detect HDMI

I received my Rift today and I've been trying to install it. I get to the cable connection section of the installation and it detects both the sensor and the rift USB connections but cannot detect the HDMI cable connection. I've tried updating Windows 10, my drivers, I've tried detecting new hardware. I completely uninstalled Oculus Home and reinstalled it without success. I've plugged and unplugged the cable from both the headset and the computer several times. I have restarted my computer twice. Does anyone have any further ideas? I am running a GTX 770. I know it's below spec but from what I've heard it's supposed to be able to still function on that, if terribly. Everything else well exceeds spec.

I got it working. I had to reboot a 3rd time. Apparently.

Could very well be your cable. Check the HDMI plug and see if all pins are straight and visible.
