[SOLVED] Error During Installation (log linked)

Hi,
My friend just got his rift today and he's attempting to install the software and keeps getting the Error during installation message when it's installing. I have no clue what to do, neither does he, we've tried common solutions on the internet and they aren't working.

It appears your friend only has 32GB free on their C drive. They will need at the very least I think 40GB free on the Oculus app install drive (usually C) but better to have 60GB free to allow some breathing room. Also, there are some timeout errors, which may be network related, such as a firewall blocking the download or anti-virus software conflict.

After further attempts it is still coming up with the message, we've cleared 120gbs and its available, the file looks different this time, hoping you can help.

That doesn't look like a complete log.

It was the same error as previously where it states: Sorry, we encountered an error during installation. Please restart your comptuter and try running Oculus setup again. If you are still expiriancing issues, contact Oculus support. I'll also get him to resend me the OculusSetup log again as that is how i received it.

I do see a few errors in the file, such as:
[Error] [10/04/2018 19:51:06] Error stream-copying 'C:\OculusSetup-DownloadCache-6631c762-bb3d-4388-82bc-bceef55018c6\e994847e01a6f1e4cbdc5a864616ac262f67ee4f14db194984661a8d927ab7f4' to C:\OculusSetup-DownloadCache\e994847e01a6f1e4cbdc5a864616ac262f67ee4f14db194984661a8d927ab7f4': The file 'C:\OculusSetup-DownloadCache\e994847e01a6f1e4cbdc5a864616ac262f67ee4f14db194984661a8d927ab7f4' already exists.
Though, I'm not 100% sure why that would happen or if that's even the issue.

Is that because of his previous attempts to install the software? would you say him deleting those folders would solve the issue? Or installation on a different hard drive maybe?

I think it's just re-using the chunks from the Download Cache folder, maybe the chunks are corrupted.

@Cede555, before running setup, can you make sure you remove the C:\OculusSetup-DownloadCache\ if it exists.

Also please make sure 100% That Antivirus OR Windows Defender is fully deactivated.
