Hi, I am building a new rig with dual processors.

2 x Xeon E5-2630v4 2.20GHz 10-Core . Will this be ok for the Oculus?

Thanks

I'm not 100% familiar with that model, but it seems new enough that it should be compatible. However, the Oculus software is geared to work on desktop gaming machines and I'm not sure a server CPU would be the best choice.

Personally I would say no based on this comparison =

I thought gaming would be dependent on single core speeds no ? Brainy peeps ?
A PC with lots of gadgets inside and a thing to see in 3D that you put on your head.

Thanks for the feedback. My main use for my PC system is CAD 3D hence the workstation build using Xeon's

.
