bug reporting: submit forum post or a ticket request?

I just reported a bug with a ticket request.
Should it be posted in the forums instead?

No mate, they very rarely if at all read your posts here. A support ticket is the way to go. If you have a long delay then you could ask @cybereality to look into it. But give them a good few days to reply 🙂

Doing both can be beneficial. The support ticket is needed because it's easier for us to keep track of (seeing how many people ticket in, etc.) and you'll likely get a faster response, whereas posts can sometimes get lost on the forum. However, it is helpful to post on the forum in addition, as people in the community can have answers and I can help escalate the issue if it ends up being a serious thing. Thanks.
