should i buy another quest controller or try to get my damaged one repaired

Level 2
a couple days ago i let my friend use my oculus quest and he then proceeded to punch a wall, since then my controller has been performing abismally both in tracking and battery life (usually only lasts 30-40 minutes with a new battery). should i buy a new controller or try to get my damaged one repaired, i have not been able to find anything on the oculus website for repairs but i assume that it is possible to send it in.

You should open a support ticket and see what they say. It may not be covered by warranty due to it being damaged by user error, but sometimes they'll replace it anyway.
