I updated to the latest build 5.4.0b13 yesterday including the patch. Although the build of my app worked I did have a problem with Unity itself. Whenever I load Unity a message appears on the Rift informing me there was an problem and to check the app for error messages. So review on this build, at least for me isn't possible. As I say though when I built the program that worked as before.
I've discovered a work around for my problem with it failing when you start Unity. All you need to do is have the VR option off when you open that project. Then when it's open just switch it on again and you can test your apps then. Once you want to close Unity again switch it off.
