When linked, your Quest is operating as a wired PCVR headset, like the
Rift and Rift S. That's why you see the non-Quest interface and anything
you buy comes from the Rift store. If you want to buy Quest software, do
it while you aren't using Link.
The Quest 2 is designed to work without the USB cable attached - it's a
standalone headset. if you wish to play PCVR games on it you can do so
either with the USB C cable or by enabling Air Link in the Oculus
software on your PC (Settings > Beta tab)...
In my experience Quest 2 PCVR via Airlink is pretty much equivalent to
the performance I enjoyed with my Rift S. Remember you'll need a fast
5GHz or better wifi router and gigabit ethernet between your PC and the
