Anyone not receive the headset they ordered? Mine is still estimated to
arrive August 4th, but hasn't even been shipped. I received the Elite
Strap that was in the same order, so I'm wondering if there's a holdup
with the Quest 2 headset specifically...
Yep, that seems to be how it goes. False promises, vague excuses, then
either silence or absolute runaround until it's shipped with no
explanation, apology, or recompense. I hope you don't have to wait too
much longer! I don't think even Meta knows.

It's hell to be told to just wait longer, isn't it? No attempt at
amelioration, no offering options or alternatives, just an admission
