Users of Unreal Blueprints an NOT make apps for App Lab at this time.
Even if you manage to get past the herculean demands and labyrinthine
hoops, at the end, you'll always be sabotaged by Android Permissions.
The "ManifestRequirementsOverride.txt" c...
I've tried to sign my apps the same way I did for Google Play Store, but
App Lab won't accept them. There must be some new way to sign apps I'm
not aware of. Can anyone who's successfully submitted to App Lab tell me
how they signed their apps in the...
I can't figure out how to get around this issue. I have generated a
keystore file and successfully used it to compile my app, so my app is
signed, right? It's in my Unreal settings, with the Keystore, the user
name, and password. The Keystore is in t...
I'm getting a Bluescreen of Death anytime my computer remotely attempts
to access my DK2. This is the latest in a slowly building string of

I have a proposal that might fix the lack of head/hand tracking in the
GearVR. Actually, it might remove the need for the GearVR entirely. The

Oculus just relaxed and let the app in. I had reduced the Alien TSA to
just 5 stubborn permissions, and ...
I just completed a tutorial on converting the project over to C++
support, just to try to fix this issue. I was unable to complete the
suggestions though, as the final changes to the project.build.cs file
are SUPER VAGUE.
That's what I feared was true, THEY PUNISH BLUEPRINT USERS! If you do a
C++ project, you're fine, but if you do a blueprint one, they load it up
with spyware galore! Right now blueprint users can't use App Lab. It
will also bounce their work for exce...
There's NO WAY you could use blueprints, make a game with UE4, submit to
App Lab, and not get told your app is full of "Dangerous Permissions".
My first App Lab game, a single player game with NO SAVED GAME FILE,
asked for these permissions: android....
Thanks for your suggestion. I'm certain it's a great one for serious
programmers. But I'm not. I'm a lowly Blueprint user and Android
Studio is *WAY* above my paygrade. Too scary! But I did find a simple
method using the APKSigner.bat and some comm...
