Yeah, turn it off and then volume down and power on. Then select factory reset in the on screen menu.It'll wipe everything though.

Chances are they'll just tell you to do a factory reset.

Hmm. That's no good. Looks like yet another issue with this update then. I also had no apps appearing until I solved the date and "limited connection" problem, but I could see my profile.

If you click on the time on the tool bar it should come up with the date above the volume, brightness, wifi, guardian and oculus link menu. Sadly, to correct this you need to open the android settings menu via the ADB command or app that I linked to ...
