nevermind - figured it out.the newer minecraft lauchers dont have the
"Local Version Editor" tab.instead you edit your profile and choose the
1.7.10 VR version.

I can confirm as well that 0.75 is a better settings for me as well.In
OculusWorldDemo I can notice the difference particularly on the branches
of the tree.
