I'll be honest. I've had nothing but problems with the Oculus S since I
purchased it. The first headset literally came in box broken, Bestbuy
and Geeksquad were impressed. Second headset couldn't detect sensors but
I could at least see in the headset...
I got an email back from Oculus, it basically asked me to unplug it and
plug it back in. There was a bit more but basically to read the 'losing
positional tracking' bit in the oculus support page.
I'm exceedingly frustrated that this hasn't been even addressed by
Oculus yet. At least as far as I know. A simple 'hey we know there's an
issue, we're working on it' would suffice.
I'm on my second Rift S and it's having this issue. Honestly I don't
want a refund but I might have to. I love VR and the Rift is my
preferred VR system as the Vive's controllers are just too big. I get
the feeling this is probably an issue that may ...
UpdateI switched beta off and it did 10 updates. Now I can see out of
the headset though the controllers are still behind the head. Went back
to setup device and again i'm back at the 'sensors cannot track
headset'. Also in headset I see a black box ...
