Air Link

Whenever I open the air link tab inside my headset it opens a window saying “Air link connection lost. Check the network connection on your PC and headset, then try again.” I don’t even connect to a device and it constantly shows up, this only started happening on August 1st but was fine before. I’ve already tried restarting devices, closing oculus app with task manager and even factory resetting the headset itself. Nothing I do works. For a couple days before this issue occurred I wasn’t able to launch games like Roblox in VR, it’d just put me in normally.

It was an update on the PC App as you can see in the image attached.

Ya, op must have because I have not seen a new v42 non-beta yet.  I'll give it a try and see if it's any better and report back soon.

Only v43 in beta (Oculus desktop pc app).  I just tried it out (still v42 Quest) and it does seem a little better.  It allowed me to go back to 200mbps dynamic without too much latency/stuttering.  Still not perfect, or better than v40/41 though imho.

 

Edit;  ptc v43 desktop app ended up with lots of stuttering especially with SteamVR so I needed to roll back to v42.  I now seem to need to use 80mbps dynamic to get the best/smoothest results.

Yeah problem arose again for me, still no clue on how to fix it.

it's very sad even the assistance does not know for the moment...

When I connect to Pc via Air link, it stays on for a litle while, then crashes saying that I lost connection, but my Internett is solid. Worked before the patches. I'm on a win 11.
