Hey there! That's totally normal! The Air Link feature is no longer experimental in the PC app, so all you need to do is enable it on the headset, and pair the connection through the Devices section of the PC app.

Let us know if you have trouble setting it up!

no  that still does not work

Thank you for the update, @stubble88! We know PCVR issues can be discouraging so we'd be glad to provide some other options!

To confirm, could you please answer the following:

  • Which headset/app version are you currently running?
  • What troubleshooting has been attempted? (So to not repeat any steps)
  • When was this first noticed?
  • Does your PC meet the Link requirements?
  • Could you provide your PC specs? (OS & version, RAM, GPU type & version, CPU type & version)
  • Do you know if Oculus Link is able to run through cable?

A couple of basics you could try out are as follows:

  • Updating your Graphics card drivers.
  • Update Windows 10/11

Once we have this information, we can look into some other possibilities!

it says its connected on the PC with the cable, but i cannot see a connection in the headset.

This was just working.  Next day airlink vanished from settings.

Thank you for the update, @stubble88! To confirm, were you able to test out the following:

Along with those, we do have a couple more things we can test:

  • Clean install Oculus Home:
    1. Disconnect your computer from the internet.
    2. Backup any necessary content.
    3. Reboot into Safe Mode.
    4. Uninstall Oculus Home using the Control Panel.
    5. Delete all Oculus folders from the following folder:
      • C:\Program Files
    6. Remove any Oculus folders from the following locations:
      • C:\Users\YourUserProfile\AppData
      • C:\Users\YourUserProfile\AppData\Local
      • C:\Users\YourUserProfile\AppData\LocalLow
      • C:\Users\YourUserProfile\AppData\Roaming
      • C:\OculusSetup-DownloadCache
    7. Restart your computer in normal mode.
    8. Reconnect your computer to the internet.
    9. Install Oculus Home again using the setup tool from our website here.

  • Enroll in/Opt out of the Public Test Channel (PTC)
    1. Open the Oculus app on your PC computer.
    2. Select Settings in the left menu.
    3. Select the Beta tab.
    4. Next to Public Test Channel, click to enroll.
    5. Manually reboot the headset

If those don't seem to help, we suggest gathering your Oculus logs and creating a support ticket here where we can provide some other possibilities!
