Emerging issue - Desktop App not finalizing the process after merging facebook in to meta

Hello Support Team.

 

After merging faceboook account in to the meta, my headset works ok, mobile app as well, however my desktop app fail to work. It says:

Continue in the browser

To confirm facebook login, go now to your default internet browser

Confirmation might take few minutes

 

Above I have translated from my system language.

 

The it opens my mozilla window where it try to open some odd link that starts with "htt_ps://www.figowa.com/?native_app_id=..." and the following page content:

Sorry, something went wrong.

We're working on getting this fixed as soon as we can.

On different browsers I have same issue, so issue is not browser related
Restarting the app does not solve the issue
Restarting PC does not solve the issue
 
System - Windows 10 - latest update
System drivers - at the latest version (CPU Intel I5, MB, GTX1660TI, etc)
 
I will not re-install the application, as I have quite a GB of data to download then
 
Currently I have no access to half of my Oculus library and entire Steam VR library - this is not something that can wait for the next update in Q3 22.
 
In the app I still have a arrow back, that does literally nothing, Help Center that redirects to the non-existing meta page:
with content:
This page isn't available at the moment
This may be because of a technical error that we're working to fix. Please try reloading this page.

I tried repairing the oculus launcher and it didn't make any difference.

However I then deleted the oculus file. Which for me was located C:\Oculus (This is not where I stored my library of games) and reinstalled the whole launcher and it allowed me to log in with my account and is now working fine.

did not worked for me. At this point, I have even uninstalled the app to install it again and now I have ended up with: Can't connect. Looks like we can't reach the oculus server. Please check your connection.
