there are a lot of us trying to figure out how to get passed this, its been ten weeks for me, support explained they are waiting for an update from the developers, my friends with the same issue have purchased new headsets with the updates and the controllers paired, i'm not ready for this yet

some are finding success following the sideload updates, I've tried on mine and it didnt work, here is the link to the reddit chat with the link to download the update as well as the link to the video - i hope it works for you, please let me know if you get your headset to work

So, this is what I did step by step!

On your Quest:

- hold power button and volume down until logo appears

- factory reset

- hold power button and volume down until logo appears

- choose sideload update

- connect to pc

On your computer:

- install ADB Bridge

- download https://drive.google.com/file/d/1-XwU2uFh1O2MytV2w_kjhrBvoavq6kRy/view?usp=sharing

- don`t unzip it, just save it somewhere

- open console and type

- cd C:\PATH_TO_YOUR_ANDROID_FOLDER\Android\Sdk\platform-tools

- adb.exe

- adb sideload C:\PATH_TO_YOUR_ZIP

Then normally restart Quest, go through setup process and connect with your mobile oculus app!

That did it for me!

with this handy do-it-yourself method, i guess you're up a creek if you don't have a PC

Thanks, actually worked perfectly 👍
