what were you guys thinking removing important thing for rift s user 😞

I hope they didn't remove it

I think if you go to Oculus desktop app settings/beta tab and opt out of the PTC beta (v46?) it should take you back to the current stable v44 which seems to work as normal.  If this doesn't work you may need to download the oculus desktop software from the support website and run a Repair.  Good luck mate and cheers..

Same issue with Quest 2.
