Solution found out:

1. if you reset windows 11  i did followed things only for this setup application:

a) drives have to be shared ( diskmanagement - properties-sharing-advanced sharing ( turn on )

b) powershell as admin: PS H:\> & "\\Desktop-shu1chd\h\oculus\oculussetup.exe"/drive=D

Desktop-shu1chd\h is my new sharing network after point a) It will do it automatically.

and if you want to install this app on another drive  like D or C or H or I......

c) now  the setup program " OculusSetup.exe" is running now. After  2 days to dive into windows systems.

hope it works after the install process 🙂

regards

Oh no! This isn't good. Thanks for reaching out to let us know. We understand how important gametime is for a long time gamer like yourself. We'd like to take a deeper look into your system.

Can you please gather the Oculus logs? We've listed the instructions below.

1. Open the Run window (Windows key + R).
2. Enter and run: C:\Program Files\Oculus\Support\oculus-diagnostics\OculusLogGatherer.exe
*The above link is the default directory. Bear in mind that if you installed Oculus Home to another drive you will need to update the command with the correct file path.
3. Select the checkbox next to ‘Full logs’.
4. Select "1 day" from the "Collect last" drop-down list.
5. Wait for the log collection to finish. This can take some time to complete.
6. The program will automatically generate a zip file containing your logs, which will be saved to your desktop automatically.
7. Once complete, please contact Meta Store Support and open a support ticket or a live chat and attach the newly created zip file for further assistance.

All the best!

The app and my Rift S are working again after windows 11 pro reset with this solution

And for all who would like to install the app on a different drive: from c to d

1. go to Powershell admin promt

2. cd to the exe drive c

3.. typing: & “[your networkname]“/drive=d

you find your networkname under diskmanagement right click on drive /properties /sharing
